The visit first came to light when Maddie posted an Instagram Story showing herself and her younger sister apparently travelling in the business class section of a plane. The image was captioned with the words “catch us in” alongside two Irish tricolour emojis.
Jamie Lynn, 35, later shared a video from the family’s time in Limerick with her 2.1 million Instagram followers. In the clip, she can be seen posing inside The Strand Hotel, with views of Sarsfield Bridge, the River Shannon and the city skyline visible behind her.

Jamie Lynn is best known for playing Zoey Brooks in the popular Nickelodeon series Zoey 101, which made her a household name during the 2000s. She has also pursued a career in music and television in the years since.
The visit has attracted attention among Irish fans due to Jamie Lynn’s famous family connections. She is the younger sister of Britney Spears, one of the world's biggest pop stars, whose career has spanned more than two decades.
Britney rose to international fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s with chart-topping hits including ...Baby One More Time, Toxic and (You Drive Me) Crazy, earning her the nickname the “Princess of Pop”.
Britney Spears made headlines last month as she was charged with drink and drug driving in California, nearly two months after her arrest for allegedly driving under the influence.
The 44-year-old pop star has been charged with one count of misdemeanour DUI by prosecutors in Ventura County, following an incident on 5 March in which she was stopped by police after reportedly driving “erratically”.
According to authorities, Spears showed signs of impairment at the scene and took part in a series of field sobriety tests before being arrested.

She was spared jail time after pleading guilty to reckless driving.
The singer has avoided jail time after pleading guilty to the lesser offence, otherwise known in California as "wet reckless" which relates to cases involving alcohol or drugs, but is less severe than DUI, with the original charges dismissed by prosecutors following a hearing into the case yesterday.
Instead, Spears was sentenced to 12 months of informal probation, where she must comply with court-ordered conditions including vehicle searches if requested by law enforcement. She is also required to attend DUI education classes and continue regular mental health treatment.
While the Spears sisters were once known to be close, their relationship became strained in recent years amid public family disputes that followed the end of Britney’s controversial conservatorship.
Despite those challenges, Jamie Lynn continues to share regular updates from her family life, with her latest posts offering followers a glimpse of a surprise Irish adventure in Limerick.
