A number of famous celebrities are backing a GoFundMe page in aid of the sisters who were seriously injured following a M9 motorway crash.
This happened after sisters Alma and Niamh Kinsella were involved in a serious crash along the M9 near Moone in Co Kildare, along with their younger sister, Ella Hendricken, who is in her 20s, and their seven year old nephew.
The accident led to the deaths of five teenagers, after the BMW they were in was driving the wrong way on the motorway. They were identified as Kamil Pustkowski (17) from Limerick; Jack Kennedy (17) from Athy, Co Kildare; Jeremy O’Brien, who was in his late teens and from Carlow; Joe Carthy (15) from Athy; and Alex McCarthy (17) from Carlow.
Following this, a GoFun Me page was set up in support of the sisters, which has seen several celebrities donate to.
RTÉ 2FM star, Roz Purcell donated €1,000, as did singer and social media star, Garron Noone, while singer and father of Rosanna Davison, Chris De Burgh donated €500.
2FM star, Laura Fox had previously said that the sisters who were left seriously injured following this accident will "need help long after they get out of hospital", as she called on people to donate to the Go Fund Page.
At the time of writing, almost 14,000 donations were made to the fundraiser.
Following this accident, social media platform, TikTok had said that they were closely monitoring all online content regarding to this tragic accident, while insisting that it removes all content which promotes or glorifies violence and crimes which could harm people's lives, including risky driving.
