A woman in her 40s has been arrested as part of a Garda investigation into reports of ongoing harassment in Co Galway between January 2020 and October of this year.
Gardaí said there has been an “ongoing and active investigation” into the reports.
The woman was arrested on Thursday in connection with alleged offences contrary to the Non-Fatal Offences Against The Person Act 1997.
She is being detained at a Garda station in the Garda Northwestern Region under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
Investigations are ongoing.
