Christmas is right around the corner and Ikea has you covered when it comes to decor. The festive season might mark the end of the Midnight Sunshine, but Scandi girl style doesn't have to stop when summer does!
The Swedish retailer is keeping Scandi style alive this December, as Ikea's 2026 Christmas lookbook carves out two distinct themes; Scandinavian Folklore and Happy Carnival.
True to its minimalist style, Ikea has stripped Christmas decor back to its quiet, classic origins, filling the collection the with nostalgic red prints, exposed wood and paper garlands.

Scandinavian Folklore celebrates classic, quiet, and timeless pieces with a focus on natural materials, while Happy Carnival is made up of rule-breaking merrymaking with bold honeycomb paper trees, electric hues, and quirky tree baubles.

Among this year's highlights is the Vinterfint Collection, made up of playful table linens, paper decorations by Lex Pott and Clara von Zweigbergk, fairytale gnomes, and smart space-saving wall trees.
Meanwhile Strala Lighting includes Ikea's famous star pendants, as well as outdoor glow-ups, and architectural LED candle holders. The retailer is also selling DIY gingerbread houses, festive Fika bites, and sparkling Swedish Julmust to add some Christmas magic.
