Noah Kahan has insisted that he does not mind his music being labelled a "snooze fest".
In fact, the singer has stated that he takes it "as a compliment", when people describe his music as boring, because he would enjoy a "fun and restful" time if there was actually a "snoozing festival".
"When people call my music a snooze fest I take it as a compliment because to me going to an actual snoozing festival sounds fun and restful", the Stick Season singer wrote on social media.
Kahan even joked that he liked the idea of his fans getting some sleep during his shows, as they are always "refreshed and ready to go" after he has played his final song from his set list on stage.
"Everyone there just sleeping side by side refreshed and ready to go after my two hours are up", he added.
It was also announced that Kahan's rise to fame will be documented in an as-yet untitled film, with production having already been completed by director Nick Sweeney, and four companies Live Nation Productions, Federal Films, Polygram Entertainment, and RadicalMedia.
At the time of writing, Sweeney and the companies were seeking a distributor to bring the movie to a general release.
The film is to look at Kahan on tour, including a headline show at Madison Square Garden, New York, as well as two shows at Fenway Park, Boston. The latter were livestreamed to support the singer's mental health initiative, The Busyhead Project.
"As his tour wraps up, he returns to Vermont to grapple with the pressures of his success, the challenge of following it up, and the personal struggles he’s never shared before", an announcement read. "In this intimate look, Kahan reconnects with the people and places that shaped him, while navigating through life’s challenges and changing relationships".
