Queen Elizabeth's Doctors Concerned For Her Health

Buckingham Palace have confirmed that Queen Elizabeth is under medical supervision, after doctors became concerned over her health.

A day on from appointing Liz Truss as the new British Prime Minister succeeding Boris Johnson in the Scottish Highlands, the Queen had pulled out of a virtual Privy Council. 

"Following further evaluation this morning, the Queen's doctors are concerned for Her Majesty's health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision. The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral", a Palace spokesperson said. 

It has been reported that Prince Harry and wife Meghan will travel to Scotland, having travelled to London to attend an awards ceremony this evening. 

Prince Charles and William have also confirmed that they will go to the Queen's residence at Balmoral Castle, a spokesperson announced. 

Queen Elizabeth who is the UK's longest serving monarch, has ongoing mobility issues and used a walking stick during Tuesday's audience with the new British Prime Minister Liz Truss. 

Following news of the Queen's health, Liz Truss posted this message via social media, saying that "the whole country will be deeply concerned with the news from Buckingham Palace".

"My thoughts - and the thoughts of people across our United Kingdom - are with Her Majesty The Queen and her family at this time," she added.
