Walk-in Vaccination Clinics for Both Doses Open This Weekend

Limerick residents can avail of a walk-in vaccination clinic at the Limerick Racecourse once again this weekend.

This time both first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be offered. Second doses only are available of the AstraZeneca and Moderna vaccines.

Anyone aged 12 and over can avail of the walk-in clinic which will operate from Friday to Sunday. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

If you're attending for a second dose you should bring your vaccine record card that you received upon your first dose to the clinic.

21 days must have passed since receiving your first dose of Pfizer in order to receive the second dose.

28 days must have passed since your first dose of Astrazeneca or Moderna in order to receive the second dose.

All attending must bring photo ID, PPS number and phone number.

The schedule for vaccines is as follows:

Friday, August 27th: 
Pfizer Dose 1 & 2 – 4pm – 7pm

Saturday, August 28th:
Pfizer Dose 1 & 2 – 8.15am – 7pm

Sunday, August 29th:
Pfizer Dose 1 & 2 – 8.15am – 6pm
Moderna Dose 2 – 8.15am – 12.30pm
Astrazeneca Dose 2 – 1.30pm – 4.30pm
