Demi Lovato has gotten into an argument with a frozen yoghurt shop. She has taken issue with their "sugar-free cookies" saying they are promoting a "diet culture".

The public have reacted saying Demi's attack on this small business was "stupid".  She has since apologized saying she didn't mean to harm a small business but she was treated for bulimia at the age of 18 and that's what triggered her outburst.

In an 8 and a half minute video, Demi explains "When I messaged this fro-yo place, I wanted to make a point and call out behaviours that don't sit right with me.  After seeing so much diet stuff in the shop, I jumped to conclusions and probably shouldn't have gone about this the way I did.  I'm willing to talk to them and work with them on getting the message right.  I'm standing up for anyone who struggles.  I'm not coming after a small business as someone with a lot of followers"
