Frances McDormand won the "Lead Actress" award at the Oscars last night. It was her third win at the Academy Awards.

"Nomadland" also won "Best Picture" and "Best Director" for Chloé Zhao.  Frances howled as they accepted the award in tribute to Michael Wolf Snyder, the 35 year old sound mixer on the film who died by suicide last month.

The movie only made $2.5 million at the box office so it's the lowest-grossing "Best Picture" in Academy Award history.

Frances urged movie-lovers to watch the film and every other film nominated as soon as it's possible at the cinema.
