Taylor Swift's recent endorsement of Kamala Harris for US President has led to a major increase in voter registration.
The popstar had taken to social media endorsing Harris as president ahead of November's election, which will see Harris go toe to toe with fellow candidate Donald Trump.
Calling Harris a "steady-handed, gifted leader", Swift stated that “we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos”. Swift also said Harris “fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them”.
The singer also called on voters to conduct their own research, and make an informed decision on what candidate they should vote for ahead of the election. She also included a link to the registration site, Vote.gov.
