Tom Cruise has returned 3 Golden Globe awards and has called for others to join the protest against the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

NBC Universal won't be airing the 2022 Golden Globes due to a "lack of diversity".  Other actors are now boycotting the event saying black and LGBTQ artists are underrepresented and mistreated.  Netflix and Amazon are also calling them out.

Tom Cruise handed back the awards he won for "Jerry Maguire", "Born on the 4th of July" and "Magnolia".

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) is made up of a small group of international journalists who vote on the awards and the Los Angeles Times recently exposed allegations of "corruption and impropriety" aswell as "a lack of any black members".
