Will Smith's Oscars Slap Is Ireland's Top Trending YouTube Video

Will Smith's on stage row with Chris Rock from the Oscar's ceremony, has been revealed as the top trending YouTube video in Ireland for this year.

Gathering 1.5 likes and 103 million views, the clip shows Smith storming onto the stage, before striking Chris Rock in the face, after the comedian made a joke about Smith's wife Jada-Pinkette Smith's baldness. She was diagnosed with alopecia in 2018.

The second most watched clip shows Snoop Dogg, Dr Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, 50 Cent and Mary J Blige lead this year's iconic Super Bowl Half Time Show.

Dr Dre who co founded rap group NWA, teams up with Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Mary J Blige, and Eminem, which also included a cameo performance from 50 Cent.

The third most popular video in Ireland emanated from The Sideman, a popular YouTube group consisting of KSI, Zerkaa, Miniminiter, Behzinga, TBJZL, W2S, and Vikkstar123, who helped to raise money for charities, by playing a charity football match against their social media counterparts.

Live-streamed on YouTube, the clip accrued 2.6 million views.

Other clips covered in this top 10, including the Johnny Depp v Amber Heard trial verdict, as well as Queen Anne's behaviour at Queen Elizabeth's funeral.
