Councils across Ireland are taking longer and spending more to find tenants for vacant social housing. The average time from a tenant leaving a council home to a replacement paying their first rent is now over 34 weeks. With the amount of vacant houses currently, Do you think that people should have to take the first house they’re offered? Or do you think it’s unfair to force people to live in an area they don’t want to live in?
