Singer, Adele is one of the many figures of the entertainment industry that has been celebrating England's Euro 2020 semi-final victory over Denmark at Wembley Stadium last night, after Harry Kane scored the winner in extra-time.

"It's Coming Home"

Sharing a clip of Kane's winning goal against Denmark, Adele wrote the caption: "IT'S BLOODY COMING HOME". This is of course in reference to the famous football anthem "It's Coming Home" by comedians Frank Skinner and David Baddiel and the Lightning Seeds.

Cattrall tweeted, "It's closer to coming home".

Meanwhile, TV presenter Stephen Fry tweeted this.

“Phew! The tenacious terriers outran and outfought the wonderful Great Danes. But now there’s Sunday to worry about… my poor old heart…”

The official Twitter account for Peaky Blinders also got in on the act. The account shared a photo of Arthur Shelby pouring a cocktail, writing, “Live scenes across England".

England now face Italy in the tournament decider on Sunday at Wembley Stadium (8pm Kick Off).
