Gabriel Byrne's one man autobiographical show is to get a US premiere, when the actor returns to Broadway.

Lasting for 11 weeks, Byrne will be taking this one man show to the Music Box Theater, with the official opening night on October 27. The show is titled Walking With Ghosts, based on Byrne's autobiography of the same name.

Byrne's previous Broadway exploits also include Tony award nominated performances in Long Day's Journey into Night and A Moon For The Misbegotten.

Before arriving in Broadway, the show will also be performed at the Apollo in London's West End from September 6 to 17.

The show already got its world premiere at Dublin's Gaiety Theatre earlier this year. It has also hit the stages at the National Opera House, Wexford and the Edinburgh International Festival.

Directed by the Emmey award winning director Lonny Price, Walking With Ghosts' creative team also includes Joan O'Clery (costume designer), Sinéad Diskin (composer and sound designer) and Sinéad McKenna (set and lighting designer).
