Line of Duty star Adrian Dunbar has said that the BBC "want to do another series" of the show.
Dunbar made these recent remarks to GQ, despite the identity of corrupt copper H being uncovered in series 6 of the show.
“I’m sure the BBC want to do another series", the actor told GQ. "We do because we want to get together again".
Dunbar who plays Superintendent Tim Hastings in the series, also added that he even has a few theories for future storylines, show it be decided to make another Line of Duty series with writer Jed Mercurio.
“I have a couple of ideas – we all have ideas that we share – but I’d rather not say what they are", Dunbar said. "There are things embedded in the storyline that could come together to make up a very interesting series seven".
Dunbar has also recently been crowned Actor of the Year at the British GQ Choice Awards.
As the bastion of AC-12, *the* bent-copper catcher and legend behind the most memorable #LineOfDuty one-liners, it surely comes as no surprise that @dunbarnews is taking home the crown for our TV Actor of the year at tonight's #GQAwards. #BOSSxGQAwards #BOSSBottled #SuitedByBOSS pic.twitter.com/nBTODsE6eu— British GQ (@BritishGQ) September 1, 2021
