Little Mix have announced that they will "take a little break" after their tour next year.

Taking to Twitter, the group who consist of Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock wrote, “We wanted to let you all know that after the Confetti tour in April/May next year we are going to be taking a break from Little Mix".

They also added, “We feel the time is right to take a break so we can recharge and work on some other projects".

The group also assured fans that they are not splitting up. They revealed that they have plans for future tours and performances.

“We’re sisters and we’ll always have each other and you, the fans, in our lives,” they said. “Little Mix is forever".

Little Mix's 28 day arena tour will support their latest album which will begin on 9 April 2022 in Belfast. It will finish on 14 May at London's O2 Arena. This will be the group's first tour since the departure of Jesy Nelson who went on to pursue a solo career.
