If you've been enjoying the Olympics this year, you may be sad to know that it will all be coming to a close this weekend.

The Closing Ceremony for the 2024 Paris Olympics is taking place on the 11th of August and speculations are growing on who will be making an appearance this year.

According to a report by Variety, who interviewed a number of sources on the possible acts - Billie Eilish, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Snoop Dogg seem to be the most likely candidates for the two-hour show at the Stade de France this Sunday.

The three artists are rumoured to be seen from Los Angeles in a mix of pre-taped and live performances - a choice to symbolise passing of the torch to the iconic American city who will host the Olympic Games in 2028.

All three artists have featured the city of Los Angeles heavily in their career - Eilish’s film “Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles.”, Red Hot Chili Peppers 1999 hit ‘Californiacation’ and Snoop Dogg being a trailblazer for “West-Coast Rap”

At the end of Sunday’s Closing Ceremony, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass will take the Olympic Torch from Paris and bring it home.

Snoop Dogg has been making waves at the Paris Olympics this month as an official Olympics correspondent for American TV channel NBC. He has attended many of the events, swam with Michael Phelps and even tried his hand at dressage riding (or rather “horse crip-walking” as he calls it).

Popstar Charli XCX reposted Pop Craves announcement about Billie Eilish's upcoming performance captioning it “... you wanna guess ;)”.

Possibly alluding to her performing her new song ‘Guess’ with Eilish at the closing ceremony.

Award winning American actor Tom Cruise is also rumoured to be performing some stunts at the Closing Ceremony. It's said he will ride his motorcycle away from Paris before cutting to a pre-recorded video of the 62-year-old parachuting down into Los Angeles next to the iconic Hollywood sign.
