Martin Scorsese Has Been Watching Derry Girls

Academy award winning director Martin Scoresese has revealed that he had been watching Derry Girls, leaving the sitcom's creator Lisa McGee and star Siobhan McSweeney stunned.

Scorsese whose impressive directing CV boasts films of the ilke of Goodfellas, Casino and The Wolf of Wall Street among many others, revealed that he has been watching the popular sitcom.

"I watched, the other night, Derry Girls", he said while appearing at Chicago's Economic Club annual black tie dinner, where he was asked what he had been watching recently. 

Following a round of applause, Scorsese also added, "Those nuns!". 

"Excuse me while I drop dead and actually die a death", McGee wrote, reacting to the news..

One of those "nuns", was Sister Michel, played by Siobhan McSweeney who also took to Twitter to react to this incredible news.

"Good morning. I'm ded", she added.
