A new documentary series about the highs and lows of the career of Robbie Williams is coming to Netflix.

This series is directed by John Pearlman, and will feature 25 years worth of previously unseen archive and intimate footage of Robbie Williams. Pearlman was also behind Bros documentary After The Screaming Stops.

Asif Kapadia will also serve as executive producer. Kapadia has worked on documentary films for Amy Winehouse, Diego Maradona and Ayrton Senna.

The series has been described by Netflix as an "unfiltered, in-depth examination" of the former Take That singer's life in the public eye.

News of this upcoming series was shared during the Ediburgh TV Festival, where Netflix shared a teaser clip which shows a naked Robbie Williams lying on a sofa, as he calls his singing voice a "gift from god".

The documentary series will launch in 2023.
