Colm Meaney is set to make a cameo in the sitcom It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

The Barrytown star is set to make a guest appearance in an episode of the sitcom's 15th series which will air later this year.

Check out the new series' trailer here.

In this episode, Meaney strikes up a friendship with Charlie, played by Charlie Day. The pair are spotted in a cheese shop and then go to a graveyard, where they visit the grave of a man called Michael Kelly. Meaney's character says that he "died from eating rocks, which he thought were eggs".

The episode will also see Rob McElhenny's character Mac try to work as a Catholic Priest. Kaitlyn Olsen's character Dee also sets up her own acting workshop. This of courses goes horribly wrong obviously.

The cast also went full Irish for this series.

The cast were also seen in Ireland, posting photos of themselves across the country.
