Last night saw a star-studded list of artists perform at the Democratic National Convention, including Stevie Wonder, John Legend and Shelia E.
This was the the third night of the DNC, which took place in Chicago, Illinois, and once again included several musical guests.
The opening day of the convention featured Jason Isbell, and Mickey Guyton, as well as James Taylor whose performances was cut due to time constraints. The second day saw Lil Jon deliver a live performance of his 2013 hit, 'Turn Down For What'.
As for yesterday, Stevie Wonder took to the stage, with the 'Isn't She Lovely' singer showing his support for Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.
In a speech before his live performance of 'Higher Ground', Stevie Wonder told the audience: “We must keep on keeping on until we are truly a united people of these United States and then we will reach a higher ground".
Later on, John Legend paid tribute to Prince by performing the late singer's 1984 track, 'Let's Go Crazy'. This live performance featured Sheila E, and was a tribute to Prince's home state of Minnesota, where Vice Presidential nominee Tim Walz serves as governor. It also preceded Walz's keynote adress.
