Chris Rock has spoken publicly for the first time since his on stage altercation with Will Smith at last weekend's Oscars ceremony.

This row saw Will Smith strike Chris Rock in the face after the comedian had joked about his wife Jada Pinkette-Smith being bald.

Yesterday saw Chris Rock perform his first live stand up show since this incident, which saw him receive a standing ovation from a sold out crowd in Boston.

Rock opened the show by vaguely referring to this bust up with Smith. “How was your weekend?”, he casually asked the audience which was met with huge laughter.

“I don’t have a bunch of s*** [to say] about what happened, so if you came to hear that, I’m not… I have, like, a whole show I wrote before this weekend", he added.

While he did not have a lot to say on the matter at the moment, Chris Rock did reveal that he would probably address the situation in the future. “I’m still kind of processing what happened. At some point I’ll talk about that s*** – and it will be serious and funny", he told the audience.

This performance was then cut off, when one crowd member shouted "F*** Will!".
