Colin Farrell has insisted that his close pal and former co-star Jeremy Renner is "doing good" following his snow plough accident last month.

Hawkeye star Renner was airlifted to an intensive care unit following an accident involving his snow plough, which left the actor in a "stable but critical condition", from an accident where he suffered “blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries”.

It had emerged that Renner had been assisting a stranded family member in heavy snow when the accident took place.

Following surgery, Renner thanked fans for their "kind words" of support following his ordeal.

Since then, his pal Colin Farrell has revealed that he has been in touch with Renner, stating that he is on the mend.

“Yeah, I’ve been in touch. He’s doing good, I believe", he said. “All prayers are with him".
