Coolio dies age 59 after collapsing in friend's bathroom

Coolio has died of a suspected cardiac arrest at the age of 59.

The rapper was visiting a friend yesterday afternoon when he went to the bathroom and didn't return.  They found him collapsed on the bathroom floor and when paramedics arrived, he was announced dead at the scene.

Police who attended the scene confirmed there were no drugs or drug paraphernalia was found at the scene but they'll still have to do an autopsy and toxicology test to determine the official cause of death.

Michelle Pfeiffer has been leading tributes to the rapper who had the hit song "Gangstas Paradise" on the soundtrack to her 1994 movie "Dangerous Minds".
