Jennifer Aniston has said that she is ready to get back into the dating world.

The global superstar split up with her husband Justin Therous in 2017, having been married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005.

The actress known for playing Rachel Green in popular sitcom Friends, has now said that she is ready to date again.

Speaking on the Lunch With Bruce podcast, Aniston said, "No-one of importance has hit my radar yet but I think it's time".

"I think I’m ready to share myself with another", she continued.

Aniston has also explained how she has enjoyed time on her own, as well as being in relationships over the passed 30 years.

"I didn’t want to for a long time and I loved really being my own woman without being a part of a couple", she said. "I’ve been part of a couple since I was 20 so there was something really nice about taking the time".

"An old school girl"

Despite revealing she is ready to date, Aniston has ruled out using dating apps like Tinder, saying that she is an "old school girl".

"People don’t come up to people anymore", she remarked. "People don't do that it's weird".

Jennifer Aniston also shared what things she looks for in a potential significant other.

While saying that the "first kiss" is important, she listed other traits that she looks out for.

"The ease at which the conversation flows the first time, that’s kind of a good indicator", she revealed.

"Confidence, but not a cockiness".

"Humour, please, I beg of you, I beg of you".

She added, "Generous, kind to people. You know… very few necessities required".

Aniston also added that she looks for a partner who is keen on their excercise.

"I think fitness is important and not just about how you look but I want to be around here for a long time and not be in a wheelchair when I’m 80", she said.

Recently Jennifer Aniston also took to Instagram to update fans on The Morning Show.
