Mariah Carey reported that she finds it “really amazing” that her music continues to be associated with the holiday season, according to a recent interview.

When the “All I Want For Christmas Is You” singer sat down with Extra, Carey reflected on the annual successful of the track from her 1994 holiday album ‘Merry Christmas’.

When responding to her fan-appointed titled as “Queen of Christmas”, Carey had this to say: "It is just really amazing to think about that," she said. "Obviously, I do other music... It wasn't like my first song was a Christmas song... There will be, like, a four-year-old and that's what they associate me with.”

The pop icon celebrated another year of Christmas-time success by dropping two new holiday tracks with ‘Fall In Love At Christmas’ featuring Khalid and gospel musician Kirk Franklin, as well as an updated version of ‘Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)’. She also teased fans, saying that there were more Christmas-themed projects in the works.

"(I'm) also working on another Christmas book - we'll talk about that next year," the singer added.
