Martin McDonagh Nominated For Directors Guild Award

Martin McDonagh's illustrious year continues after he was nominated for the Directors Guild Award, along with fellow director Stephen Spielberg.

Fresh from their Golden Globe successes, McDonagh and Spielberg have been nominated in the same category for their work on The Banshees of Inisherin and The Fabelmans respectively.

The pair have been nominated for for outstanding directional award in a theatrical feature film for 2022. 

Martin McDonagh had landed the Golden Globe for Best Screenplay, while Spielberg landed the directing award, with his film winning Best Motion Picture and drama.

Other directors nominated include Daniel Scheinert (All At Once), Daniel Kwan (Everything Everywhere), along with Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick) and Todd Field (Tár).
