Tipping Point host Ben Sheperd was left stunned and in hysterics over a wrong answer given by a contestant during an episode of the game show.
The contestant was asked the following question, "In his epic poems, Homer often refers to nectar as the drink of the gods, and which other substance as their food?".
The questions was about Homer the Greek poet, however, the contestant misconstrued this question, thinking that it was in reference to Homer Simpson, the cartoon character.
This led to the contestant saying this, "I think I’ll go with donuts, please, Ben". In the clip below, you can see Ben Sheperd trying to hold in his laughter.
Another contestant weighed in, "I would have said donuts as well... Beer and donuts".
This is 27 seconds of remarkable television.

As you could imagine, fans took to social media to express their shock at what they had just seen.
Classic #TippingPoint moment as Homer the Poet is confused with Homer Simpson. Apparently, alongside nectar, doughnuts are the food of the Gods.
