TV presenter Sarah Beeny has announced that she is undergoing treatment, having been diagnosed with breast cancer.

The presenter had revealed that she had "a little bit of a breakdown" when she received the news.

Despite this unfortunate news, Beeny is currently focused on her new Channel 4 show, and will release a new book later this year. "I'm lucky because I live in a family where we all talk", she said. She also lost her mother to cancer when she was 10 years old.

Beeny, who is known for presenting property shows including Sarah Beeny's New Life in the Country, and Help! My House Is Falling Down, has confirmed that she underwent a course of chemotherapy las week and will undergo radiotherapy in the new year.

Sarah Beeny also added that she will draw on her "inner strength" during her treatment process.

The presenter and property expert married artist Graham Swift in 2003. The couple have four children.
