Waiting On The Williams Sisters Views On King Richard Was The "Worst Two Hours Of My Life" - Will Smith

Will Smith has revealed that he hated waiting to hear Venus and Serena Williams' views on his film and their take of his portrayal of their father, calling it the "worst two hours of his life".

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air star plays Richard Williams the father of the famous tennis duo in this film King Richard.  Richard Williams also coached his daughters to play the sport from an early age. 

King Richard also sees Demi Singleton and Saniyya Sidney star as Serena and Venus. The sisters were offered roles as executive producers for the film on the condition that they liked it.

"They said they would see us through the process and exec produce, but they wanted to see the movie before they decided if they would put their names to it", the I Am Legend star told the Graham Norton Show. "It was the worst two hours of my life, but they were a mess with tears, and they loved it". 

Smith also added, "It was such an opportunity to dive into the life of this family and spend time uncovering their amazing story". 

"He predicted Venus and Serena being the world's number one and number two women's tennis players two years before they were born! He wrote a 78-page plan". 

"It was a really crazy prophecy and so amazing it's hard to comprehend".
