Singer P!nk performed a medley of some of her biggest tracks as she was named an icon at the Billboard Music awards. The singer follows stars like Jennifer Lopez, Neil Diamond and Prince in winning this honour. The Icon award recognises, “outstanding artists who have achieved excellence on the Billboard Charts and have made an incredible mark on music itself".

P!nk was not alone for this performance. For her song, "Cover Me In Sunshine", she was joined on stage by her 9 year old daughter Willow Sage. Willow performed acrobatics for that track.

The collaboration had an effect on Billboard Music Awards, who tweeted their reaction. Alongside a purple emoji, they wrote "goosebumps witnessing this mother-daughter collab!". They also added, "how great was Willow Sage Hart on the #BBMAs stage?!".

P!nk performed a stripped back version of her new single "All I Know So Far". She sang this song alongside a masked guitarist, before finishing off with tracks "Just Like A Pill", "Just Give Me A Reason" as well as an energetic performance of "So What".

"So What" and "Just Give Me A Reason" are included alongside "Raise Your Glass" on Billboard's Hot 100.

P!nk was introduced to the stage and presented with the award by Jon Bon Jovi. In her acceptance speech, P!nk joked that Bon Jovi had let her down as an eight year old girl by marrying his wife Dorothea.

“I love what I do and I love the people I get to do it with", P!nk said in her speech.

"And we’re pretty good at what we do but it wouldn’t matter if no-one came to see us and play with us, so all you guys out there and around the world, thank you for coming out, thank you for letting us all heal together, I cannot wait until we can do it again, until we can just sweat all over each other".

“This is an absolute honour – dream big, because what if it comes true?”, she added.
