Gardaí have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision involving a motorcyclist near Milford on Saturday.
The incident occurred on the R515 at Coolnagour, between Milford, Co. Cork, and Dromcolliher, Co. Limerick. Emergency services were alerted early on Sunday morning after a motorcyclist was discovered unresponsive at the scene. The man, believed to be in his 50s, was pronounced dead on site.
The road remains closed as Garda Forensic Collision Investigators carry out a technical examination. Local diversions have been put in place.
Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who was travelling through the area between 1:00pm and 6:00pm on Saturday, June 21, to come forward. Gardaí are particularly interested in acquiring dash-cam or other camera footage from that time.

A post-mortem examination will be conducted, and investigations into the collision are ongoing.
