Taco Bell Is Coming To Ballincollig, Cork Next Week
It’s official — Taco Bell is set to open a brand-new restaurant in Ballincollig, Cork next week, marking another major step in the fast-food chain’s expansion across Ireland.
The popular American fast-food brand announced on its own social media that the Ballincollig location will open on 9 December 2025. This will be Taco Bell’s second restaurant in the Republic of Ireland, following its debut earlier this year.
The new restaurant will open inside the Applegreen in Lisheens House, Ballincollig, Cork, P31 KX49, located just five minutes off the N22 — making it an accessible stop for locals, commuters and anyone passing through one of Cork’s busiest routes.

For fans familiar with the chain, the arrival of Taco Bell means access to some of its most iconic menu items, including the Crunchwrap Supreme, Loaded Taco Fries, Quesarito, and the cult-favourite Baja Blast, a drink that has developed an almost legendary status among loyal customers. With the Ballincollig restaurant opening in the run-up to Christmas, there’s already hope that the full international menu will be on offer from day one.
Taco Bell’s expansion in Ireland began with its first location in Meath's Applegreen, 3 minutes of the M3, which drew notable queues when it opened and helped establish the brand’s foothold in the Irish market.
Although only the opening date and location have been confirmed so far, the announcement has already sparked excitement among Cork residents and Tex-Mex fans eager to try the brand’s tacos, burritos and signature sides.
Details such as opening hours and whether any special promotions will accompany launch day have not yet been revealed, but Taco Bell encouraged followers to “stay tuned for more” updates as the opening approaches.
The arrival of Taco Bell in Ballincollig comes at a time when international fast-food brands continue to expand into Ireland’s suburbs and commuter towns. Cork, as Ireland’s second-largest city, has become a prime target for global chains looking to tap into a growing and diverse customer base.
With 9 December fast approaching, anticipation is building — and Cork food lovers won’t have long to wait before Taco Bell’s Tex-Mex favourites land in Ballincollig.
