The Status Yellow wind warning has been issued to Galway, Sligo and Mayo and will come into effect at 3 o'clock today, and is expected to continue until 9 o'clock tonight.
Met Éireann is warning of strong and gusty southeasterly winds. Drivers should expect difficult travel conditions alongside potential road obstructions from fallen trees, stray branches, and windblown debris.
A wind warning for Cork, Kerry, Clare, Limerick, and Waterford will run from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. During that same timeframe, a Status Yellow rain warning will also be in effect for Cork, Kerry, and Waterford.
