Andrea Bocelli is to release a duet with tennis star Jannik Sinner.
The pair who are both Italian, are to record a duet of the song, Polvere e Gloria, which will see Sinner repeat parts of winning and losing speeches. It will arrive via Decca Records/Universial Music on June 20.
It will also include a music video, which features personal and archival images from Sinner and Bocelli's childhoods, and will include scenes filmed as they collaborated at Bocelli's estate.
"I am very happy and honoured to be part of this project with Andrea, who for 30 years has been a unique and extraordinary voice, a flag for our country in the rest of the world", Sinner said on working with Bocelli. "I could never have imagined hearing my voice in one of his songs. It’s extremely moving".
Bocelli who has gone onto sell almost 90 million records, has performed at major worldwide events including Olympic Games and the World Cup.
Back in May, Andrea Bocelli shared another live cover of Nessun Dorma in tribute to outgoing Match of the Day presenter, Gary Lineker. Bocelli had previously performed a live cover of the track during the Premier League title celebrations of Lineker's beloved Leicester City in 2016. More on this here.
