Ed Sheeran is coming back to Dublin for a pre-Christmas night at the 3Arena on December 9th. Expect all the crowd-pleasers alongside fresh tracks from his new album Play.
The 3Arena date is one of just a few arena shows Sheeran is doing this winter, making it a rare chance to catch him in a more intimate setting before his huge Loop stadium tour kicks off in New Zealand in January. For a man who usually fills football grounds, this is as up-close as it gets.

Sheeran is currently bouncing between arenas in Germany, France and the UK before landing in Dublin. Earlier this year, he swapped the stage lights for a snug pub gig, surprising revellers at The Sky and the Ground in Wexford during Fleadh Cheoil 2025. It was a nod to his deep Irish ties — Wexford being a childhood haunt, with family and friends there, while his dad grew up in Belfast and he still has relatives in Galway. Of course, Galway also inspired one of his biggest hits, Galway Girl, written years after his teenage busking sessions in the city.

Pre-sale tickets for the Dublin show go live on Ticketmaster Tuesday, September 9th at 10am, with general release following Thursday, September 11th at 10am.
