Jessie J has postponed her upcoming tour due to needing a second cancer surgery.

The British popstar revealed in early June that she had been diagnosed with early signs of breast cancer and would be undergoing treatment.

"nothing too serious, but it has to be done before the end of the year,"

The 37-year-old was due to tour the UK and Europe in October and perform shows in the US in November but announced in a post to social media that all dates would be rescheduled or cancelled.

In a video posted on Instagram on Thursday, Jessie J, whose real name is Jessica Cornish, said: “Unfortunately, I have to have a second surgery, nothing too serious, but it has to be done before the end of the year, and unfortunately that falls right in the middle of a tour that I had booked.”

“I feel frustrated and sad, but also it is what it is, and I need to be better."

All of the UK and Europe tour dates have been rescheduled to April of 2026, while the US shows are currently cancelled.

“So that is what it is, and I’m sorry,” the performer said. “I feel frustrated and sad, but also it is what it is, and I need to be better. I need to be healed, and I know this is the right decision to make.”

“So I’m postponing the tour till next year.”

Cornish underwent her first surgery for her cancer in June, saying earlier this month that her hair had been falling out “like crazy” since the operation.

The mum-of-one has had health struggles throughout her life, being diagnosed with a heart condition at eight and suffering a stroke at just 18.

"You guys know how much I want to do all of it, but I just can’t."

The ‘Domino’ singer asked fans to “bear with us for the US tour” as they tried to reschedule it.

“It’s something that I want to do, but when the time is right. So it might be a little later in the year. It might be a little earlier. I don’t know yet,” she said. “You guys know how much I want to do all of it, but I just can’t. And I have to be realistic.”

Cornish released a new single ‘Believe in magic’ this year, 7 years after her last release. Perhaps her best known track ‘Price Tag’, was a 2011 international success, topping the charts in 19 countries, including the UK.
