Paris Jackson has said that she is "so proud" of the double track that she recorded for her late father, Michael Jackson.
The singer spoke about this during an interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music, having released the tracks, The Breeze, and Just Me and You via Republic Records to coincide with her father's birthday on Saturday last.
Michael Jackson, hailed as the 'King Of Pop' died in 2009 aged 50. He is also the father of Prince Jackson aged 29, and Bigi Jackson aged 24.
"I'm so proud of this double single. I'm so proud of my coming into my own as a producer and coming into my own as a songwriter and also saying f**k the rules, we're not gonna have a chorus, we're not gonna have a bridge," Paris said in a teaser of the interview. "The first one's gonna be the letter, and the kind of spoken word, and the second one is gonna be some verses and a chorus with a weird instrumental thing at the end".
Paris also said that these songs offer an insight into her relationship with her father.
"But by no means does it feel like a complete message of, 'Well, this is all I have to say about this.' It's like I'm probably just gonna keep the rest of it to myself for now", she said.
Sharing the tracks online via Instagram, Paris Jackson did insist that these songs were "not a tribute".
She said: "It's not a commemoration. It's not a demonstration of any kind. It is a letter. It is a poem of the sonic variety. It is my honest experience - with love, loss, and para-social relationships vs a personal one".
Paris Jackson will also begin a mini tour, which will begin in Atlanta, Georgia on Tuesday night.

Earlier this month, Paris Jackson also opened up about choosing to speak at her father's memorial service when she was 11 years old, which took place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles just weeks after the singer's death.
Speaking to the Call Her Daddy podcast, Paris said that this spontaneously while she was on stage with her family.
“It kind of just happened in the moment. It was kind of like... it happened on stage", she told the podcast.
