Irish artists continue to dominate global streaming platforms, with new Spotify figures for 2025–2026 showing a mix of established international stars and fast-rising homegrown acts leading the way.

At the top of the list is Hozier, who has cemented his position as Ireland’s most-streamed artist with more than 41 million monthly listeners on Spotify. The Wicklow singer-songwriter continues to attract huge global audiences thanks to enduring hits including “Take Me to Church”.

Legendary Irish rock group The Cranberries also remain among the country’s biggest streaming successes, attracting more than 28 million monthly listeners, driven largely by the lasting popularity of “Zombie” and other classic tracks.

Meanwhile, U2 continues to prove its global staying power decades into its career. Songs such as “With Or Without You” continue to perform strongly across streaming platforms, helping the band remain one of Ireland’s biggest international music exports.

Former One Direction member Niall Horan also remains among Ireland’s top-streamed acts, while dance artist Jazzy has emerged as one of the country’s breakout success stories. By 2026, Jazzy had become Ireland’s most-streamed female artist, attracting more than seven million monthly Spotify listeners.

Other Irish artists continuing to perform strongly include Dermot Kennedy, who maintains more than 10 million monthly listeners, and Enya, whose music continues to attract major streaming figures worldwide, particularly during the holiday season.

Irish-language rap trio Kneecap has also seen a dramatic rise in popularity, reportedly generating more than 26 million Irish streams in 2025 amid growing international attention.

Among the country’s fastest-growing emerging acts is Kingfishr, which gained major momentum throughout 2025 and 2026. Their track “Killeagh” became the most-streamed Irish song in Ireland during 2025, highlighting the growing appetite for new Irish music among younger audiences.

The latest figures underline the continued global appeal of Irish artists across multiple genres, from rock and folk to rap and electronic music, while also showcasing a new generation of acts beginning to make their mark internationally.
