The new trailer for Paul McCartney's documentary, Man On The Run, has been shared.
In the trailer which you can check out below, Paul McCartney speaks about how Wings formed, saying: “It was about trying to do something different", adding: “It was about trying to do something different".
Wings who were formed following the break up of The Beatles in 1970, did manage to become successful in the music business despite that rocky start. Across its 10 year run as a band, they released five albums which went to No 1 in the Billboard Charts in that time.
The band are also renowned for hit singles, 'My Love', 'Jet, 'Band On The Run', and 'Live And Let Die'.
However, the band's music was not a big hit with the public, leading McCartney to say: “I’m going to make the best record you’ve ever heard.” Within years, the band was filling stadiums and routinely topping the charts".
Man On The Run will premiere via Amazon Prime Video on February 27, including new interviews with Paul McCartney, as well as archival footage of John Lennon, Ringo Starr, George Harrison and Linda McCartney and others.
Elsewhere, Paul McCartney will be portrayed by Irish actor Paul Mescal in the Sam Mendes directed Beatles biopics which arrive in April 2028.
Ahead of these biopics, Paul Mescal has said that he will do his own singing when he plays McCartney in these movies.
"I've learned so much. It's really inspired a love", Mescal told GQ magazine. "I've always loved music, but getting to play one of the great songwriters and great frontmen has really lit a fire in terms of personally writing music and engaging and hearing music in a different way".
