Up in the haunted halls of Slane Castle, the latest episode of The Traitors Ireland played out like the perfect mix of Shakespearean farce and a bingo night gone rogue.

Imagine this: Paudie, now the last Traitor standing, decides he’s no longer content lurking in the shadows. Nope, he wants a partner in crime—so who does he choose? His son, Andrew. A father-son duo that’s less “copy me” and more “strategic crossover,” leaving everyone else swapping suspicious glances faster than you can say “family reunion.”

Meanwhile, chaos erupted as faithfuls gathered for allegiance debates and secretive challenges. Oyin, now known as the castle’s unlikely superhero, swooped in to claim the lucky immunity shield during a casino-themed showdown. She’s safe for the night, while the rest squabbled over who looked too shifty to trust.

And then there was Katelyn’s grand exit—bounced from the round table, and the castle erupted in dramatic flair. She put on one heck of a traitor farewell speech, waved goodbye, and left behind a trail of plot twists so thick you'd need a pitchfork to sift through.

But the drama doesn’t stop there—oh no. Just when you thought things couldn’t get steamier, tensions among the remaining Traitors reached boiling point. Paudie, Eamon, and Katelyn (before her exit) turned on each other in a dizzying swirl of accusations, paranoia, and betrayal that had loyal viewers glued to their screens.

Meanwhile, back on the RTE airwaves, Eamon—banished early for his cocky, villain-style gameplay—still embraced the spotlight. He insisted he was just giving the audience someone to root against, cheekily pleading for folks to remember it’s all a bit of craic, and not a reflection of his Garda duties. He even earned some playful jabs from real-life colleagues for how dramatically he darted around in the castle.

So there you have it: a castle full of suspense, swearing, shields, and secret family alliances—where rounds of betrayals are served alongside the tea (and maybe a strategically dropped F-bomb or two). Paudie’s now going full dad-mode in the traitor department, Oyin’s the undefeated shield queen, and everyone’s wondering: what’s next in this deliciously dramatic Irish version of “Who’s the Traitor?”
