Darkness Into Light is returning tomorrow (10 May), and here on Ireland's Classic Hits Radio, we will be supporting this huge fundraising event.
This event which is Pieta House's biggest fundraiser, once again will be supporting people who are affected by the thoughts of suicide and self harm, or have sadly lost somebody to suicide.
Grammy winning singer RuthAnn is heading up this year's event, calling on the public to sign up and support the wonderful work of Pieta. Each sign up aides Pieta's ability to answer calls, provide therapy and support families who need help.
Here at Ireland's Classic Hits Radio, we will be with you, and the hundreds of thousands of people around the country and the world. We will have music for your at 3am Saturday/tomorrow, as well as chats with RuthAnne. We will also speak to others who are taking in this event.
Tune in and listen to us in the car and on the app as dawn breaks and you cross that finish line, symbolising the journey from crisis to hope.
