According to Donald Trump "the greatest show on earth," is set to take place at the White House later today, conveniently coinciding with his 80th birthday.
The event, called the UFC Freedom 250, is a show of multiple UFC matches, which will be held on the South Lawn of the White House in a custom area named "the Claw", which is 92ft tall and will host 4,000 invited spectators. There will be 7 back to back matches beginning at midnight Irish time.

The Freedom 250 is said to be commemorative of the Country's 250th anniversary and is celebrating the "American fighting spirit".
The event has however received serious backlash as many have questioned the validity of Trump's rationale for the UFC fights. Many critics have pointed out that this event is being held on Trump's birthday and not the 4th of July, USA's independence day. However it is Flag Day in America.
One group has even tried to sue Trump with a federal lawsuit calling the event a "“profound misuse of our sacred national monuments”.
A recent Ipsos poll found that many Americans were in fact unhappy with the preceding of the fight. The survey found only 16% found the fight appropriate.
Trump is no stranger to public birthdays, his 79th also fell during a public celebration of the USA last year.
This year many people sent Trump public birthday wishes including Piers Morgan and Greta Thunberg.
