The parents of an Irish singer-songwriter have gone viral for their hilarious rendition of a new TikTok trend.
Hundreds of thousands of people have been hopping on the ‘Beez in the Trap’ mashup trend on the video-sharing app in recent weeks.
The viral sound combines the Nicki Minaj song with the 90s hit “What’s Up” by 4 Non Blondes.
Everyone from Kylie Jenner and Khloe Kardashian to Jimmy Fallon and Malala Yousafzai has hopped on the trend, but RuthAnne’s parents might just be the best yet.
The clip shared by RuthAnne 24 hours ago has amassed more than 135,000 likes, but many have credited the Behind The Scenes clip she shared prior as the catalyst for the popularity.
Behind the scenes, see RuthAnne coaching her parents, Brian and Berna, through the trend with Brian facing the patio singing the lines from What’s Up while Berna is in the kitchen taking notes for Nicki Minaj’s part.

‘I can’t remember!’ Berna exclaimed with a laugh — with Brian still heard in the background learning his part.
‘What does it mean?’ Berna followed up, confused about what Nicki Minaj was trying to convey.
‘You’ll have to ask Nicki Minaj, I’m not sure,’ RuthAnne admitted.

Within 24 hours of posting, the clip has been liked 325,000 times, with TikTok users going to the comments obsessed with the duo.
‘Dad howling in the back the whole time,’ one wrote, while another echoed: ‘It’s dad hooting and hollerin in the back.’

A follow-up video from RuthAnne on Thursday showed her telling her parents they had gone mega-viral, with Berna instantly responding: ‘Sh**.’
‘I’m very excited and delighted,’ she added, ‘Are the paparazzi at the door yet?’
‘Can we open for your next show?’ Brian asked RuthAnne, who confirmed: ‘Of course.’
