Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a serious single-vehicle road traffic collision at Grange Beg, Dunlavin, Co. Wicklow, yesterday, Wednesday 9th July 2025.
The collision, involving a car, occurred at approximately 6.25pm.
A female passenger of the car (aged in her 20’s) was taken to Tallaght University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
No other injuries were reported at the time.
The road is currently open.
A male (aged in his 20’s) was arrested at the scene. He has since been released without charge.
Investigations are ongoing.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.
Road users with camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling in the Grange Beg, Dunlavin, Co. Wicklow area between 5.30pm and 6.30pm on Wednesday 9th July 2025 are asked to make it available to Gardaí.
