ABBA Voyage Revenue Surpassed £100 Million In 2023

ABBA Voyage surpassed £100 million in revenue last year, it has been revealed.

This virtual concert residency has attracted more than one million visitors in 2023, bringing in more than £100 million overall.  Featuring digital avatars depicting the famous band members, this voyage virtual show included 374 performances in total. 

The shows which took place last year, was attended by 1,097,597 fans, including an occupancy rate of 97.8%, according to the documents filed in the UK with Companies House in Aniara, the company behind the shows. Tickets for these shows also range between £27.50 to £319.50. 

They made their debut in May 2022, at the purpose-built 2,000 capacity ABBA Arena in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London. 

The company also revealed that the revenue from the ticket sales amassed to £103,665,597, with a pre-tax profit of £6,065,402.

These figures are more than double the numbers reached in 2022, with £2,990,757, when the residency was on for more than 7 months that year.

“During the period, the group successfully operated the ABBA Voyage show, building on the critical acclaim received following its launch in May 2022. There is a substantial market demand for ABBA Voyage and the directors anticipate a continued high level of activity throughout 2024", the report said. “The group’s long-term strategy is to continue the run of the show in London for as long as it remains commercially viable".
