Amy Huberman has detailed her upset following the sudden passing of her beloved dog, Phoebe Mary.
Amy’s furry friend was a regular on her social media as the doting owner regaled all her escapades to her social media followers.
Three years ago, Amy set Instagram alight when she revealed her husband Brian O’Driscoll had picked up the ‘wrong dog’ from the groomers.
Sharing the hilarious story at the time, Amy revealed Brian had just thought Phoebe got a ‘serious groom’ which resulting in the darker fluff coming off.
‘He may defo need an oil top-up on the laser eye surgery…’ Amy jibed.
The brilliant story resulted in many of Amy’s online followers growing fond of Phoebe, who Amy often referred to as her fourth child.

On Wednesday, the actress took to social media announcing the death of Phoebe following a sudden illness.
Amy wrote: ‘Absolutely gutted to say goodbye to our little pal after a sudden illness. The best, most spirited, full of chaos, full of fun, furry member of our crew.
‘Phoebe Mary, my fav ever story of you was when you ran down into the basement of a lovely hotel and dive bombed right into the spa pool.’
Amy went on to extend her gratitude to her late dog ‘for being the best companion, the biggest thief of socks, the most faithful resident of all dens made, the joiner inner of all craic.’
‘Thank you for destroying the garden, then jumping up on everyone when you were done,’ Amy continued, ‘Wouldn’t change any of it.
‘And thank you for being the best listener of all chats , always. The best girl. Sleep well our lil pal.’
The grieving dog mum added that her youngest child had said he hoped Phoebe would get to meet Santa now, with Amy adding: ‘I hope so too.’

RTÉ’s Doireann Garrihy led well wishes, writing: ‘I’m so sorry Amy it was so clear she was SO loved, and she knew it. Take comfort in that.’
Another added: ‘She’s up there doing her thing. Rest easy Phebs… you are loved.’
A third commented: ‘Oh now! So sad. We are a dog family and know exactly how you feel. Sending love to you all. Sleep tight Phoebe girl.’
