Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's daughter Vivienne is seeking to legally remove 'Pitt' from her surname.
The 18-year-old has recently filed a petition requesting to legally change her name to Vivienne Marcheline Jolie.
According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, the reason for this request has been listed as "personal."
The court documents have also revealed that the hearing on Vivienne's petition has been scheduled for Nov. 2.
Vivienne isn't the first of Jolie and Pitt's six children to seek to drop "Pitt" from their name. Their children, Zahara, Maddox, and Shiloh have all filed to drop their father's last name.
“It’s sad to see someone repeatedly publicize their successful alienation of their children from the other parent,” a source close to Pitt told PEOPLE.
“He has virtually no contact with the adult kids. His engagement with the younger kids is more limited in recent months because of his filming schedule," the source continued.
The source also claimed that Pitt is "devastated" by the legal action.
This comes after many years of reports of strain between Pitt and his children following his split from Jolie in 2016.
The pair's divorce was finalised in 2024, however they remain in an ongoing dispute over a French winery that they once owned together.
