Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour has officially been confirmed as the highest-grossing tour of 2025 by a solo artist, underlining her continued dominance as one of the most powerful live performers in global music.

The 32-date run concluded in July with a final show in Las Vegas, and generated a total of $407.6 million (€305.5 million) from 1.6 million tickets sold. The figures place the tour at the top of the solo-artist rankings for the year, ahead of several major global acts.

In second place was The Weeknd, whose 46-show After Hours Til Dawn tour grossed $336.7 million (€251.7 million). Earlier this year, that tour — which launched in 2022 — was officially recognised as the highest-grossing tour by a male artist in history, making Beyoncé’s lead in the 2025 solo category particularly notable.

While Cowboy Carter topped the solo rankings, the overall highest-grossing tour of 2025 belonged to Coldplay. Their ongoing Music of the Spheres world tour saw the band play 59 shows during the year, generating $464.9 million (€347.7 million) in ticket sales.

Beyoncé’s latest achievement adds to an already historic touring résumé. She is now the first American artist to have two separate tours surpass $400 million in gross revenue. Her 2023 ‘Renaissance’ tour, which ran across 56 shows, earned $579 million (€434 million) and was previously ranked among the highest-grossing tours of all time.

The success of Cowboy Carter also reflects the strong audience response to Beyoncé’s genre-expanding project, which blended country, Americana and pop influences and sparked widespread discussion throughout its release and live rollout. The tour’s ability to deliver stadium-level numbers with a comparatively short run further highlights her sustained drawing power across international markets, including Europe and Ireland.

With multiple record-breaking tours now behind her, Beyoncé remains one of the defining live artists of her generation — and one of the few performers capable of consistently reshaping the commercial limits of global touring.
